So you are new to Albion and / or our guild?
Lets start off with the basics!
We have some small rules in our community and for the guild.
Your real life must take priority and everyone in here will understand if you can't join our events for any reason. We do ask though if you have commited yourself to an event that you inform the organiser, as a courtesty, although we understand this may not always be possible.
Try to have fun in the game and help others to have fun too. We don't have mandatory events or call to arms.
Please use the various text channels in our Discord to ask questions (e.g. #wizard-tower) and get in touch with your fellow guild members.
The in game chat is often bugged and won't remember things you have written. Discord does. We also don't see anything if we're not online!
Also, try to join in on voice calls. Talking is always optional. Being able to hear the comms always helps especially in dangerous areas such as Blackzones.
Two channels you should check regularly are #proclamations (announcements) and #mission-board (events)!
In #proclamations we will post announcements from time to time. Please read them and then react with a ✨ icon. Usually there is one already.
By clicking it, you signal to leadership that you read the post and it helps us understand how well our members receive information.
In #mission-board we post events.
To help us organize better, it is extremely helpful if you signal your intention for our events. Each event either has a "accepted, maybe, declined" process, or if it's a specalized event, roles such as Ranged DPS, etc.
Even if you cannot attend an event, please signal as such. Each event will have either a "Declined" or "Absence" option, please choose that if you cannot attend. This lets leadership know the events are at least being seen.
Note, as of this time we do not track attendance, none of our events are mandatory unless explicitly stated as such, which is extremely rare.
Regardless if you signed up for an event or not, try to be punctual for the event if you plan on joining. All times on any event are shown in your local time.
If you are running late, try to let us know so the event leader can plan accordingly.
Due to the multitude of content we have, we have a system that lets you choose what pings you want to get, so you don't have ping fatigue.
You can find content pings here: content-roles
We will never use the infamous @everyone or @here ping for content as in this huge community, we would alert a lot of people to it. Therefor it is turned of for normal users.
We have guild islands in every city on the main continent. There you can claim the various crafting and refining boni.
We do have more ranks than Disciple. The more you do, the more likely is your ranking up. But you need to let us know you want to rank up. We will never force a rank onto you and you can always step down.
Check Guild Ranks guide for more details.
Everything you do in the game, helps us. Be it PvP, PvE, adventures in the Roads or just crafting. Everything has its place and spot and is useful for the guild and its members.
You don't have to speak if you are shy or have no microphone, but joining a voice chat is fun and helps building trust and the community.
We always take donations. Be it silver, resources or other things. Every little piece is welcome! Check Donations guide for details.
If you have a problem or a question, you can always ask in #wizard-tower. You can also always DM any leadership member and they will address your concern either directly, or table it as a matter to discuss amongst the wider leadership.
Please consider reaching out before simply leaving the guild! We welcome feedback of any kind, even negative. Communication is key in these matters, we cannot fix something we are not aware of.
DIG Albion's leadership members are champions of (and subject to) the wider DIG Community Code of Conduct. If you feel that leadership members are not upholding the CoC, please DM a @Staff member and we will address the issue directly.
