¶ Workstations
This guide is for all those who want to know how workstations work, how to upgrade, feed and repair them.
¶ Basics
Workstations come in various forms.
There are the refining stations that turn raw gathered materials into their crafting materials.
Then there are the crafting stations, where you can use turn those crafting materials and artefacts into tools of protection and destruction.
You also have some stations to turn your farming goods into food and alchemic potions.
Every City has its own bonus on refining and crafting. A guide for all Islands will be made once we have them all.
¶ Tiers
If you are close to a station you can see its color.
Each color tells you which tier the station is and therefor the limits of the station. Any station can only craft / refine things up to this tier.
¶ Upgrading
If you see this nice guy hammering on a station...
it means that the building is in upgrade mode. This also means we need a lot of materials to be put into it.
EVERYONE can put materials into an upgrade process. Just click on the guy and you will see this:
In this example you see, that this station would need 300 T7 stone blocks to upgrade. If you have some spare, drop them in.
¶ The Stats
If you hover over the three bars you weill see the three stats of every stations.
¶ Crafting Capacity
Even these workers can't work 24/7. Crafting Capacity represents this.
If one person crafts / refines a lot (and I mean a shit ton lot) this bar will be reduced. Once it is empty, you will have to wait until it is back up again.
¶ Durability
Outside of Black Zones, it usually does not matter. But all stations in the HQ or a HO will loose durability over time and use. If it reaches 10% it will no longer function.
To prevent this it needs to be repaired from time to time.
¶ Food Supply
These workers get Hungry at some point. If they have no food left, they will stop working. So always make sure you have some food with you to give it to them, so others can craft and refine as well.
How to feed them, just read on.
¶ Feeding a Station
For this you just click on the picture of the worker and scroll down until you see this:
Every Station eats every food that a player can eat. But each has its own favorite dish. If you feed it its favorite, it doubles the nutrition.
Usually Cabbage Soup is the best to feed the stations except for those who use T6+ food.
Just shift + click on the food you wish to feed the station, click ok and it is done.
¶ Repairs
In the Headquarter and in Hideouts you will need to repair them.
Just click on the worker next to it (looks like the upgrading worker) and donate the materials needed into it.
Once it is done, the worker disappears and the station can resume its normal work.
