A Rec Game is a type of game we play within the community that:
@Rec/Helldivers designed for you to ask people who play that game if they want to play it.They are designed to be very casual, no pressure occasionally played games, where groups of people sign up to receive notifications about when people are playing them, with an opportunity to join in.
You can get the roles for each Rec Game in the #roles channel.
You can opt out of receiving pings at any time by simply un-selecting yourself from the reaction role!
Please consider not muting the server of you are getting too many pings. Simply un-react yourself from the problematic role.

Occasionally, the games list is pruned for inactive games. Otherwise, the list would grow exponentionally, and would not be a good experience to newcomers who think we play a certain game whereas in reality no-one does.
While not entirely set in stone, the prune process follows this rough criteria:
Should you feel that a game warrants being a rec game again, please vote for it in Discord: #game-suggestions!.
For abundance of all doubt, any game that has been pruned can be voted back in. HOWEVER, if yet again it does not gain any activity, it will be purged.
Repeated games that go through multiple cycles of purging and revoting and purging will simply be blacklisted. At time of writing (4th Feb 2025) there is only one game that is blacklisted:
